Tomorrow I want to test my VAM…is there a procedure for that (I searched and didn't find one)?

It is basically the same concept as testing the TPS. Your looking for sticking or binding. You want a smooth opening of the VAM Door Also looking for electrical flat spots or drop outs and for the correct voltage values. You can check this by checking VAM volts between W/BK (+) and BK/W (-) wires at VAM connector. KOEO should be .3 V or so. At 1000 RPM hot idle around 1 V or so. Wide open voltage should be close to 4.5v
