Valve Cover swap

Is it possible to put an 88TC valve cover onto my 85TC without any type of modification? My breather cap on my 85 is screwed up so I want to put the spare breather cap and valve cover from an 88TC that I have laying around onto the 85 and see if it helps. Thanks

You should be able to do that with no problem. It's the other way that may cause a problem.

You should have no problem swapping valve covers.my 1985 tc has a 87-88 tc cover on it right now.But not for long!!!
