Ok so i just installed the stinger fmic and on the stock intercooler where their was a fitting that split off to 2 vacum lines one to the boost control silonode witch i removed a long time ago , so now i just have the single one that runs along the fire wall to the vacum tree then splits off and disapears behind the fender? What do i do with thus line now and where does it go? Ive looked for diagrams online and i have the book but cant seem tp figure it out. Tia

I could've sworn I replaced mine and it didn't have a T, but looking at the diagram it shows it going off unmarked. I will take a look tonight.

Yea thats the same diagram i was looking at and with the new fmic set up idk what to do with it i bypassed the boost control silonode a long time ago and just ran that one on the nipple on the intercooler and dont know what to do with it now

Sorry, I didn't get online last night. On my car it goes from the intercooler directly into the vacuum tree for that line without the tee running to the fender.

That T fitting with the 2 vac lines on the stock IC is an aspirator that generates vacuum for the cruise control servo when the engine is under boost. Without it, the cruise control wont work when the intake is pressurized, such as when climbing steeper hills, etc.

if you don't use the t fitting like jeff says the cruise will not work under boost. i know this from direct experience in 2016... no boost with cruise isnt fun.

Thank you jeff and bjl , so what i am understanding is that i can just conect the vacum line that runs from the fender straight to the vacum tree and elimate the rest? Thank you for the response

Correct...... you will not have cruise control when under boost, PLUS positive pressure getting to the CC servo will blow out the diaphragm in the CC servo.
There are 2 check valves in the lines from the vac tree and the aspirator on the IC so the CC servo will see the "best" vacuum from either source, and the check valves will also prevent boost pressure from the vac tree from getting to the CC servo.

So i have to make sure one of those check vavles are installed after the vacum tree to the cc servo?

Why not just install the aspirator in the tube from the turbo to whatever IC you use and leave the system as is.
