Vaccum ?

Searched but couldn't find this. Should there be any vaccum lost from the cruise control because I have a slow vaccum loss coming from it. Checked right at the port going in to the diaphragm after caping all other ports on the controler. Also does the Gillis vavle lose vaccum though the relief port all the time because I also have a slow vaccum loss from it.

The Gillis will lose a small amount of vacuum all the time. That is by design and won't hurt anything.

I can't answer on the speed control.

Re cruise control: There shouldn't be a vacuum loss except when the brake is applied. Check the vacuum dump valve at the brake, and the hose to it for leaks

When testing just the tube to the server (eliminating everything else) mine also has a slow leak. Every one of them I found in a junk yard did this.

The vacuum loss is about as fast as the Gillis valve.

The dump valve is not in the picture because I capped all ports off on the control then tried pulling a vacuum.

The slow leak is coming from the diaphragm part of the controller but it seems to slow to be busted so I think Matt is right they all leak a little.
