vaccum lines blowing off under boost

My 88tc is blowing off vaccum lines. My fuel pressure regulater line is blowing off, tranny line is blowing off the vaccum tree and the main vac is blowing off the upper intake. There is oil in it seems like every vaccum line.the car does not smoke compression is great so I dont really think Im getting alot of blowby.Only thing I can think of is the pcv valve, but I took it out and you can only blow through it one way.The breather on the valve cover was replaced by a pcv valve by someone before meand the lines only blow off under boost also. What could be causing this?Im tired of putting hose clamps on every dang line.Any ideas?thanks

How much boost are you running????
I'm an advocate of clamping some lines but for most it isn't uysually necessary, ASSUMING the line itself is in reasonably good condition. Meaning plyable and not stretched and dried. If your lines are like that then replace them.

If you got noticable oil in the vacuum lines it's either a from the breather or leaking past the compressor seal. See what the inside of the IC,& TB look like

The intercooler has no traces of oil in it.The vac lines are all good and the turbo is not leaking (ther is some oil residue in the compressor housing but I think that would be from the breather though)Would that pcv on the valve cover be letting too much oil in?Maybe I should go get a breather from the boneyard and go from there? Thanks again pete, your the man!

I use small size tie wraps on most of the vac lines that see boost as cheap insurance against blowing off. Looks better than hose clamps, and cheaper too.

You kinda got me stumped. You got presence of oil in the compressor housing, none in the intercooler and yet oil in the vacuum lines.
Which vacuum lines - any?, all? only certain one(s)?

A couple thoughts: 1. you tested the pcv by the distributor. I asssume you blew through the small end and it would pass no air at all, right? 2. you mentioned a one way only valve at the breather. I think you need to replace that with something that passes air in both directions. My theory is the stock breather passes air in both directions depending on the state the engine is in, boost or vacuum. This may not affect the hoses blowing off issue but it may make a difference in where you find oil

Pete,I have a VERY light film of oil in the compressor housing and none that I can see In the intercooler.Im blowing off the FP hose, trans vaccum line,The main vac hose that goes to the upper intake (one that goes too the tree that connects to the upper intake)Im also stumped.I blew on the small side of the pcv.Maybe ill just replace the pcv valve, they are cheap so ill go that route. Thanks again

I'm not up on auto trans but is there any chance that oil is from the trans, getting sucked up the hose from the trans?????

A blown diaphram in the tranny vac modulator will cause oil to get sucked into the intake. Seen this happen personally a few times in the last 30 years or so.
