vac brake conversion and now cruise isnt working

As the title says... Does the cruise have any grounds that were connected or run through one of the plugs for the factory braking system? Or...it may be possible that I bumped one of the connectors under the dash while getting to the 4 nuts that hold the braking unit to the firewall. Is there any sort of diagnostics that I can run or is there a wiring schematic anywhere? Thanks!

there is a switch on the ABS module that shuts off cruise. you may have to jumper the connector for that switch.

Thanks Pete, I got the diagrams. Jon...where would I find this switch? Or is it just a 2 wire plug that needs to be jumped?

Same issue - hydroboost conversion. Any details on that jumper for the ABS module?

Well, after extensive research on this board and www, I found these pages on cruise control: Ford Cruise Control
According to thorssell, the inputs to the amplifier are on the six pin connector: ignition power (pin 3), two wire VSS (pins 4&6*), stop light switch (pin 1), and steering wheel switches (pin 2).

[*I verified this wiring visually on my '87 TC. YMMV]

After checking the ground to frame ground resistance less than 5 ohms, I checked ignition power when KOEO. I then depressed the brake and found that the stop light switch pin yields 12V.

Thus, unless there is an switch on ABS that interrupts the steering wheel switches, there is no such thing, since this is the only input that I did not check.

Next, I checked for servo power (8 pin connector, pin 4) and found less than a volt. I failed to hit the ON button and check it again, but that and steering switch signals are next on my list.

There is no cruise deactivation switch associated with the Teves II ABS system.
