Anyone ever put stock V8 Mustang coil springs on a 87-88 Turbocoupe? If so I'm curious how she handled and rode.

I use 4 cyl Mustang springs. They ride ok with the shocks firm. Handling probably isn't very good though, especially with 4" tires and no sway bar.

I used v8 springs on my 87.Had no problems. Handled good. Just install them first before cutting them. I cut mine first and woops. She was low in the front.

Would the springs have worked at stock height without cutting them?

I just did the front end on TC bushings ball joint etc... I had a set of Mustang springs for conv. laying around they where approx 1/2 shorter than TC springs but twice the thickness, really rides stiff with PRC on firm but it does slouch at all in the corners (of course I also installed Energy suspension sway bar endlinks and frame bushings)

I am not sure. I cut before I installed. It was a normal 5.0L mustang feel but I also swapped to tbird 5.0L struts and shocks and got rid of PRC
