Oh yeah? Well I went to Jegs today and got a new MSD Blaster coil! All kidding aside, looks like you are doing everything right! One thing you may want to consider is removing the trim. The sections in front of the front tires just bolts on from inside the fender, you can get to it from reaching behind the header panel(people with dainty hands work well here(girlfriend, sister, etc...)). The sections in between the doors just peels off, and the sections behind the rear wheels unbolts from inside the trunk. And last, the bumper cover's trim is fake, it's part of the bumper and can't be moved. This may be getting a little anal about quality but did you think about taking off the side mirrors so there's no shadow when you paint so everything is more consistant? But it'll make the paint job look more professional and show that you cared to make it the best you could.

Well... I forgot to post this with my original reply, and it's not showing up so I can't edit it. Has your teacher covered how to fix cracks in the bumper covers? Mine has a small 4" crack and I'd like to fix it before it's painted.

Well we been having problems with the teacher, last year right before i was to bring my tbird in the teacher went on leave and quit (that's what he said). I later found out he wasn't certified and was fired, and well same thing happened again this year, but we got a substitute that is certified, but he really doesn't know that much, so we are doing it on our own.

**GCIT is looking for a certified body specialist to teach in Sewell, New Jersey**

To fix a crack bumper with out replacing it we use a fiberglass mesh and this nasty rubber stuff and put it on the back, it a flexible paste, looks like flexible JB weld to me. That puts the crack back together then just use flexible glazing putty and fill in the crack and its fixed

We're not taking the trim off, thats my tape line. Not painting the bottom half of the cart cuz i would be spending most of the time taking the rubberized coating off, and we're painting the car the same color and dont really need to paint allot of the car, just fixing the clear coat that was peeling.
The mirrors were the first thing i took off the car, and now i have my door panels laying on my back seat cuz i also took out the door locks, i was going to take the keypad off but i don't feel like messing with it.
We're trying to get the car painted and looking perfect but trying to be quick at it at the same time, incase my class has to be put to book work, hopefully we'll be done Friday
