How many turbocoupes year by year , then manual vs. auto? Does anyone know where I can find this out? Maybe we should start a registry year by year...
88 turbocoupe t3, ranger roller, 4.10gears and lots of fun.

The numbers I have are:
1983: 12,566 of 121,999 Total Thunderbird production
1984: 14,744 of 170,551 Total Thunderbird production
1985: 20,804 of 151,852 Total Thunderbird production
1986: 21,315 of 163,965 Total Thunderbird production
1987: 23,833 of 128,123 Total Thunderbird production
1988: 35,271 of 139,411 Total Thunderbird production
TOTAL TC's: 128,533

Allegedly the manual trans TC accounted for about 5% of total Tbird production but I have never seen that proven.

Pete,

That figure does seems a little low at first but it might not be too far off if you look at the overall picture.
If the published figures from the T-Bird book are correct, Turbo Coupe production accounted for 14.67% of the total amount.
So even if the number of Turbo Coupes built over the 6 year life span averaged out to a 50/50 split, the total number of manual cars would be 7.3% of the total.
