Need to get anyone and everyone to sign this. I not that I would be able to afford one but it would be cool, and IMO possibly better than the current line-up of tbirds new models. well take that back I might be able to get one after its 20 years old like mine is now! lol

That things been floating around from time to time for years. Ford isn't going to step back in time. Snowball's chance in a fire!! A better petition would be to start using Turbo's again period!

Like Keith said, that has been floating around for years, and surfaces on this board every 6 months or so. Who really thinks Ford would bring back the TC in any form? Why not bring back the 5.0 pushrod Mustang while they are at it? How about the mid-late 60s Fairlane GTA with a 390 ci? (always one of my personal favorites).

I think the time is ripe for some type of high tech 4 banger in a rear wheel drive configuation. It doesn't have to be a Thunderbird (sorry about that), but something like a new gto except powered by a high tech good mpg turbo 4. After all so many of our cars have well over 200k and critical parts are obsolete. It's sad, but the days are numbered.

You mean the '66-'67 with the stacked(vertical) headlights??? I'll sign that one. Always had a soft spot for those myself, but unfortunatly have never owned one(have owned 9-10 of the '68-'69s, with four being 428 Cobra Jet cars and two of those Super Cobra Jets)

When my now 34 year old daughter got her license, she about disowned me cause I wouldn't buy her a '67 that was for sale over on the next street. With new paint, it looked real good(all that was important to her), but untfortunatly was a mechanical nightmare. Everything that could leak did, and it was just plain worn out. It would have been a great project, but she needed something dependable(you understand that one).

Yup, Tom, the 66-67 GTAs were awsome. A friend had a light green 67 in excellent condition in the late 70s. For years, I told him that if he ever sold it to sell it to me. Never happened..... it got totaled by some moron who ran a stop sign, and back then, 60s muscle cars werent worth much, so it was hauled off to the JY.
