turbo upgrade HELP

I called turbonetics about my 87 turbo coupe and told them I would like a t3 turbo,the so called gentleman was very rude and said I wouldnt be able to bolt one of theres on.I would like to know how I could upgrade my turbo or get a aftermarket.Someone please help for what I can do.I need help not frustraction. Thank you

Why not try calling TurboCity instead? I've heard a lot of good things about them.

I think it'd be easiest (and much cheaper) to just buy a watercoolered t3 turbo off of another earlier turbocoupe. That way you can get all the special fittings you need (like the oil return line, wastegate, special exhaust housing and turndown, etc) and still be able to send it away for a rebuild/upgrade at a later date.

The guy doesnt know what he is talking about. A T3 with an SVO style compressor outlet is a direct bolt in to the 87-88. Only difference is the T3 specific oil drain line, and elongating the holes on the down pipe flange that bolts to the exhaust elbow.
