turbo intake temp..

Anyone know how hot the intake temp is on the turb. I am trying to come up with an intake for it and want to use something thatwont melt or burn..Any Ideas?

You need to be a little more specific about where your talking about.
At the compressor inlet it's about ambient.
At the lower intake it's whatever the compressor added to it minus whatever the intercooler passed off, assuming you got an IC. Air under compresssion can come out of the compressor at greater than 300

I was talking air inake TO the compressor.Filter/VAM side....Wasnt sureif the housing got to an extreme temp or not.. My eclipse did not but I also used an alluminum intake for it..
