I know one of drawbacks of the intercooler is where it sits..
has anyone made a heat shield for the Turbo / Exhaust manifold on 88

87 TC Faded Burgundy with faded red interior
K&N and cold air ducting- rest is bone stock
02 Mazda Protege 5 Replaced Dead Saturn
99 Cougar- Wife's car new body style now Discontinued.

I don't know of anyone making one but the GN's did use one. You may also want to check this out.

I don't know of anyone using one so I can't say how it would work.

I made one for my T3. It only sits 1/4" off the turbine housing. Should work for an IHI w/top mount IC.
