Turbo Heads

I have been away far too long but wanted to post a heads up.  I'm 90% sure I'm going to Carlisle this year and wanted to offer this up.
I am moving and there are 9 TCs on my property.  I met with Andy today about buying them and he told me that taking parts to Carlisle
is not about big parts anymore (engines, heads, etc.).  He said about the only thing that sells are small interior parts so he wasn't
interested in any of my cars.  So sadly 4 - 5 are going to the crusher.  I'm not going to pull parts per se because I'm trying to get the
place cleaned up and sell it and I'm way to busy.  The only part I care to deal in is the head.

In years past turbo heads were hard to come by.  Well I'm going to have at least 5 of them available.  I hope $150 a piece is fair.
I figure I can put them in the trunk and bring them to Carlisle if anyone is interested.  Let me know.

I am VERY interested in one of those cylinder heads...but I am in Phoenix, AZ and while it is still a dream to come to Carlisle someday, this year will not be the one in which that happens. (Ironically, I grew up in Western PA and have had interest in vintage and special interest cars since I was a teenager, but have never been to Carlisle.)

I understand the cost of shipping, but am open to the idea of purchasing one of those from you. I would prefer a different reconditioned head for my pending Turbo engine rebuild, but costs might make this impractical and I end up using the head on my existing TC.
Another proud dues-paying member.

1987 Turbo Coupe w/T5OD, 8.8 axle, grey smoke; most options. Got it in 1991 with 41K miles: 3 turbos, 2 heater cores, 3 T5OD full rebuilds, 6 clutches, 1 head gasket, 2 Teves II ABS units, etc. later....

First all have been sitting outside for years so I have my fears about the undercarriage and of course the interiors suffer also.
Andy and I did a quick look through yesterday and there were several I was going to hold back from the crusher with the hopes
of getting them on the road.  Then there is always the issue of mice.  That said you're welcome to come take a look and I'm not
looking to get rich just sad they aren't inside.  Price is very negotiable.  I'm located just outside of York.

One is burgundy with dual seats and not sure what other options.
Two black ones, one with red interior, one with the gray/blue interior.
Two silver ones which possibly could be made into one.  They are both automatics.

Perhaps someone in your general area is coming to Carlisle.  Either way if they don't sell I'm going to keep them in storage.  Just to hard an item to come by.

York is about 70 miles west of where my Stepdad lives. Do you happen to have any photos of the cars?

Jeff,  I was going to record the mileage from the car I take the head out of.  I believe them to be original to each
car.  You can have your choice.  Guess I'd better get signed up for Carlisle today.  Thanks, Fred
