Turbo gauge does not move

What is the best way to check the turbo gauge in the dash?  Mine does not register at all.  I'm pretty sure the turbo works, I can feel it boost.  I pulled the dash cluster out far enough to make sure the hose was connected.  The hose felt fine, no dry rot.  All the other gauges work.  Thanks

You can disconnect the small line off the vacuum tree and if you have something to control air pressure test it that way.

Like Mike said, the line that connects to the vac tree is very small, looks like 1/8" line and connects to the tree via a rubber adapter.

Thank you both.  I went to pull off the hose from the tree and found the problem.  I repaired the hose with another hose that fit over the ends.  Took the car for a test drive and easily got 11 PSI.  Yahoo!
