I have my spare turbo sitting in a PB blaster bath for when I take it apart to rebuild it in a few weeks [Image: biggrin.gif]

Basically, I hose it down with a can of PB every few days to make sure dissasembly goes easy. I'd hit it with some, otherwise I don't know what would be keeping the bolts in there so tight except for torque [Image: tongue.gif]

the bolt on the compressor wheel is tight what do you use to hold the wheel to keep it from spinning

Well I haven't done this yet but I've searched a lot on the topic and thought about it myself. I was just going to stick the wheel in my table vise and clamp it [Image: smile.gif]

i kinda ground my own socket. buy a cheapo wrench and try that. sory i dont remember the size i think it was 12 or 14mm. anyways you'l lget it to work.
with the bolts just be gentle, nothing more frusterating then spending a lot of time to get it off only to have it strip or break off. use LOTS of pb blaster, soak it in it if you can. then a few taps with a mallet can loosen it up.

when i replaced the compressor turbine on my ihi, i wrapped a rag around the turbine, turned the bolt(keep in mind the thread may be reversed)untill the rag cought hold of it andjept turnng untill it moved. pb is ok, but i prefer marvell mystery lubricant(aresol can). just my two cents.
