Well, I have to say that lately the Motorcraft stuff has been kind of "cheap" looking, and I personally do not feel it is the best.

Currently I am running the NAPA Cap and Rotor, NGK plugs (TR5), Accel coil, Taylor Thundervolt 8.2mm wires and KEM pickup inside the distributor. In fact the only part I found necessary to be Motorcraft is the TFI. All the others I have tried failed.

But this is just my opinion.

I've run NAPA as well as MC cap and rotor for years, no problems either way. I use MC wires. I'm going to try the NKG plugs on the next change just to see for myself

Thanks guys. On another site they say Forced Four products are the only thing to use, just wondered what you guys thought since my SVO is basically the same.

You mean all these Motorcraft parts, here? http://www.forced4.com/svostore.html

I ran the same parts as I listed above in my 86 1C when I had it, with the exception of the NKG plugs which I have yet to try. It ran fine on MC and NAPA stuff
