I think I have the wrong ones. I bought the 79-03 A tubular A arms. Should I have gotten the 94-95. I heard something about the turning radius. Help me out before I install.

Depends on what car you have and your situation.

If you have an 83-86TC then get the 79-93 Arms for identical length. If you have an 87-88TC then the 94-04 Arms are the same length. But the balljoints will need to be changed with you run the Fox Spindles with the 94-04 Arms.

But you can use the Fox arms if you need to pull your wheels in some on an 87-88TC.

Turning radius on these cars sucks regardless. I have the "improved" turning radius arms "D" and it is better but not entirely worth the trouble if that's all your looking for.

I have an 87 TC.Basically I am using all my stock parts with the acception of my new D&D coilovers, Koni reds, and 5 lug lincoln cross drilled rotors. So I guess I will exchange them for the 94-04 units. The A arms come with new ball joints. Are you saying they wont work?

Nope. The balljoints are too short for the Fox Spindles. You will have to replace the balljoints with Fox units or machine your spindle down. Just not enough threads to secure the nut properly. There's one member on the Fox Boards that had his balljoint nut come off.

I think I remember you saying you are going to run 18x9s in the front? I would hold on to them for a test fit. You may actually "need" them to tuck your wheels in.

I've had my tubular A-Arms installed for almost three years now, Maximum Motorsports MMFCA-7's. I used the ball joints that came on the arms with the stock spindles. MM provided nyloc nuts for the balljoints rather than castle nuts. I was able to engage all the threads on the nylocs, the ball joint threads barely protrude.

Admitedly I don't daily drive my TC, but so far I've had no trouble and I've actually checked the nut's tightness a couple of times to make sure they're not loosening up any; so far so good.

This is just my 3¢ worth and personal experience to date, not meant to be contrdictory, YMMV.

Instead of changing the ball joints you could go with the SN95 spindles. The cost of the spindles is more thanreplacing the ball joints, but not much and it is a good upgrade and allows you to run the Cobra 13" brakes. I am pleased with mine.
