Performance Automatics has a good reputation with the C4.

Pretty sure my trans builder used a TransKing brake in mine. Works great!

I've been searching for the transking one,i read good comments on them,do they still make them since i havent found any seller. i have a PA deep pan and it cannot be used with PA brake since the solenoid is inside the pan and it makes some fitment issue.Boosted chicken is your solenoid in or out?

I liked my PA transbrake. Fast reacting and never a problem with it. Mine fit in my Hughes deep pan with no problems, but this was 1998 and the memory's a little fuzzy on how it was put together.
