My tranny slips... When I start up the TC and first put it into D, its fine. But after I get driving, the tranny slips getting into gear after I stop. Once I stop, I have to give it a bit of gas before it grips and gets into gear. Anyone know what the problem is? How can I go about fixing it? THanks

Also, What other cars have the same engine and tranny as the 86 TC?

You referenced an 86 Turbo Coupe, that will have the C3 transmission in it. It sounds like it may be just low on fluid, if it has been run like that for very long, puting more fluid in it will only fix the problem temporarily. Someday it will give up the ghost.

If it is full of fluid, it is in need of a rebuild/ or replacement.

The fluid level seems to be just fine. Sounds like I need a rebuild or replacement. [Image: frown.gif]
Are there any other transmissions that will fit the 86 TC? What cars could I pull from?
