Did the search but it didn't return anything. I have it written down somewhere but can't find it. I need the torque setting for the exhaust manifold bolts on the 2.3.
Thanks,

Ford manual says to torque them in 2 steps. 5-7 lb-ft and then 16-23 lb-ft

Thanks Brian. Now for another stupid related question. If I am replacing the bolts one at a time, I assume that that I can just go ahead and use the final torque setting without the fear of warping anything?

Gary,
I would get all the bolts started first before tightening them. Then do it in two stages like B said AND work from the center toward each end

/\ i agree, i always start from center back and forth out. i just torque then 15, then 35 ft lbs. but im also running a gasket there. and i re torque them every oil change.
