What size and make of tires are good for an 87 TC. I've heard some people say to run 255/60/16 and do you guys think? I can't afford some $800 tires. Affodable but good is what I'm looking for. Thanks

I'm running 235X55s and like them very much.
Nothing rubs. I have stock springs but the fronts have probably sagged a tad. I have heard you an go 245X50 with only possible rubbing on the driver's side front on a hard turn. I'm nor sure you can get the 255s to work.

I'm running Delta Akurat 245/50R16's, they are H Speed Rated. I paid about $103/each for them, mounted & balanced. They do rub just a bit on a very tight turn, but nothing major.
