Well I drove 80 mile to dropp off the Tranny for my wife's project car & Met Bob the owner. Very nice guy & we talked quite a bit aboutr his race cars & my Tranny. He had the ting completely apart in less than an hour & said it was in great shape for 180,000 miles. Just a chipped key for the 3/4 slider was what was causing the problems. But while it is totally disassembled, I thought it would be best to freshen it up with new bearing & such. He gave me a great price & said he sould be done in a day or two. I would highly reccomend him because of his knowledge, experience, & his attatude of doing things right & not cutting corners.

I've got a spare t5 with a bad input shaft bearing and have been meaning to have the whole thing rebuilt...where is this place and how much are they charging you for the rebuild,if you don't mind my asking?

Scott and Glenn have assured me that the t5's aren't really *that* complicated, but transmissions are one of the things that I might opt to have a professional complete if the price is right.

Hanalon is located about 80 miles from where I live in Hammonton. It will take you a good 2 1/2 hours from Toms River. They are about 30-40 minutes further than the King of Prussia Mall. Give them a call for directions.

I paid $475. $250 for Labor, $170 for the rebuild kit, $45 for the Input Bearing Retainer, & 12 for a new speedo gear for my 4:10 rear. Really nice guy who had took the tranny apart in about an hour while I was there & discussed with me what needed to be done. Just give'em a call.
