Throttle Response on my TC...

My throttle response is very slow IMO, if I jump on the pedal very quickly it pauses before the RPMs start jumping up. I've driven other cars and did this, it seems like as soon as you touch the pedal its very touchy, however my TC isn't. Sometimes, if you jump on the gas quickly the RPMs fall about 100-200 lower than normal and it almost sounds like the car was about to stall (this only happens in about a half a second). Anyone else's like this?

What gear and rpm are you jumping on it> These cars don't have a lot of low rpm torque like a V8 or even a 6 cylinder. Depending on modifications you won't get real hard throttle response below 2700 to 3300 rpms.
Below that it's going to be slow and the lower it is the slower it is.

You might want to check your timing also. It should be 10* advanced with the sprout disconnected. If it's less that will hurt throttle response. It you bump it up to 12-13 that will help a little.

i thought with the spout out it was 10*btdc not advanced 10*??
t3/t4 ball bearing hybrid spearco intercooler. Ported big valve head, 44pph injectors,motorsport cam and roller followers kirban afpr walbro 255lph fuel pump 65mm tb atrp downpipe extrude honed intakes and a ported e6 atr external wastegate greddy bov prolly some stuff I missed too

It means the same. anything befor TDC is considered "advance"

i make enough pizza's everyday to fill your garage and all your cars- once i put 43 sheet pizza's in the ol turbo coupe trunk included that was a steamed up drive in the middle of june

it was like a music related deal i think all music assoisiated school teachers and related faccility.yup car still smells like pizza kinda gets to you after while too(but still not as good as huffin gas j/k)

I'm talking about during idle, in nuetral is I rev it up and do that, it does this little half second stall before the RPMs jump up.
