I want to remove my throttle body so that I can get to the valve cover. This might be a dumb question but how do i take off the two linkage type wires that run to the gas pedal inside the car off of the throttle body?

It's like a ball-and-socket joint. You just have to push down until it pops off. It's not hard, just be careful not to break the plastic.

Use a long screw driver to pry it toward the front of the car. you only have to remove the onewhere the cables are side by side. It is easier to remove the TB and upper intake as a unit then remove the TB from the upper on the bench.
