Here is a picture of the car that you have been helping me with. I've just
about got it the way i want it but it is still a work in progress. I would
not be afraid to drive it anywhere right now. Just had new tires put on it
yesterday. The only thing that i know is wrong with it now and it's really
no big deal is that if you do not let it warm up for about 3 or 4 minutes
before taking off it will buck you for about a mile down the road and runs
real rich at startup. If you will notice in the picture , some of the black
paint is coming off on the door right beside the window. You may be able to
see the silver in the picture. What do you use to paint over this ? Anyway
thanks for all of your help.

Check at an autoparts store for Trim Black. Test a scrap peice of metal first to make sure it's the right color and luster (should be inbetween Gloss and Flat Black).

The car looks great. Glad to hear you are excited about it. Have you pulled the codes and checked fuel pressure for the rich/bucking problem?

Along with the TFI, replaced the PIP sensor too. The two work together, and it's common for the PIP to be worn.

See the NATO Tech Article http://www.turbotbird.com/techinfo/TFI-PIP/TFI-PIP.htm

Good job on the car, keep plugging.

Good job! Agree with everyone else on the TFI/PIP.

What tires did you go with?

I put a set of Gillette Golder Bear Touring SE on the car. I think these are made by Bridgestone. The size that i had put on are 225/60R/16.
I was using may-pops before [Image: smile.gif]
