This dose not seem right

Putting the bird back together got a new clutch and the t/o bearing dose not seem to line up right I have done a lot of clutches on my mustangs but this is the first time on the bird

In the pic I have it lined with the pressure plate and disk splines but its barly in the fork when I place the t/o bearing in the fork where it needs to be its way off like the fork is to short
When I pulled the trans the bearing just fell out like its about to right now I know the fork has a broken prong but that's not my issue right now

Anyone done a clutch lately please chime in
