So when i bought the car i was told the passenger strut tower was rotted. Thats not a ig deal for me. Then i put it on my lift 2 days ago to find out that the car has passenger frame rot right under the strut tower. So here is a thread that will be updated as much as possible to show you guys all the work being done. Here is the official tear down progress made today. I got the whole nose off and the turbo lines disconnected and the intake out. The turbo will be coming out tomorow if im not working. here is some pics

Good luck... I absolutely will not deal with rust, have junked cars that were in far better cond... Yes one a TC, but it was in similar condition to yours...

This is an easy fix. Ive dealt with alot worse before. I will have more pics tomorow. The turbo is finally off. Now i gotta get all new metal lines that go to the turbo and stuff.
The frame will be fixed, then this winter the car is going in for paint and some more mods. Im thinking about adding a cowl hood to it.

A "easy fix" would have been repairing the fuel pump on the other TC... Of course this assumes it didn't have chassis rot as well... You'll probably be "patching" stuff on this one for as long as you own it...
