The manual drive shaft is longer than the auto. You cannot cut down an TC auto to fit a T5

The manual drive shaft for a mustang is 46"
The auto drive shaft for a TC is 52"
(lol don't have a manual TC shaft to measure, but id trade a cable clutch setup for one
The ideal length (read it somewhere here) is 48"
due to the bulge that the auto shaft has I couldnt take it all from one end.. I'd have to split it.. making it easier to just go find a lincoln one and have it shortened
