I wish my tires were that cheap...I paid just about 400 for new tires mounted and etc all the way around....

Hope this helps

well guy's the wife is not mad anymore !!thank god, I purchased my 88 TC for 1500$ and put with the tires 1765$ in to it since I bought it, in sept. not to bad since I put new head, clutch, battery, fuel pressure regulater, speakers, k&n cone, and tires. so I'm doing pretty good, she had a lesson in who make the money.

I'm with Mike and Jeff. Even with the wad I got in the TC and considerable repairs to the daily driver and the about to grow amount in the SVO, I still got less than the ~$30K her explorer cost. (It doesn't help my side of the discussion that it's a 95 Explorer that has cost nothing except tires and oil changes. Most trouble free vehicle I have ever owned). My other twist is "yes dear, I could sell them off and buy a new car, which color do you like the new Jag convetibles in, honey" [Image: biggrin.gif]

Nope, someone told me about a u-pull about 25 miles from the house with 3 XR7s. Went there and grabbed the emblem, a Tripminder, and the chrome looking things for the door straps. Debated grabbing the T3 on the '86 automatic, (I think they want $30 for turbos) but it didn't spin real free; it spun like it was caked with old axle grease.

Thanks for asking, though.

BTW, sorry about not getting those emblems to you Walsted. I didn't forget about you, just *still* haven't had time to get to the junkyard because of work. Let me know if you need anything else though, I'm going to try and go sometime soon!

No problem. I wouldn't have even asked for you to send any had I known that there were XR7s in the Pick-n-Pull in Dallas. The bodies aren't nice, but the emblems are mostly there. Thanks for the offer, though.

and.........if you lived in Calif.,it's nothing to have to pay $1000/year for registration on your new car/SUV on top of the high cost of insurance here.
