Is there any way to test the ride control struts that are not on the car. i have a couple sets but want to make sure they are working correctly before posting to sell.

The way I do it is Use needle nose pliers to switch from soft to firm, put a piece of wood on the piston and push down. If it isn't leaking and the resistance is a very noticable difference between soft and firm, it is most likely a good strut. Remember that these struts are actually a long lasting strut and they are quite easy to compress in the soft mode. They should have resistance going down and coming back up. if they push down very easily and come up real fast the valving is probably shot. Good luck.

A good strut shows a night and day dirrerence in both compression and rebound when switched soft to firm.
