I replaced my temperature sensor and the gauge in the car still won’t work. Any ideas why?

Do your other gauges work? If not, might have a bad voltage regulator behind the dash gauges. If they do work, you may have a bad wire going to the gauge. You should be able to check your wires by grounding out the connector at the sensor to the block, this should make the gauge go full hot and stay there. If it does that, then your sensor may not be grounded correctly or a bad one. sometimes installing these with teflon tape does not allow a good ground to block, maybe try a liquid sealer. Just a few of the things I can think of.
