I saw the post on the TC model, I didn't know anybody else liked the minature TC's! Well, to begin I have a huge collection of hobby stuff so don't be alarmed by the numbers here...

Monogram made the 1/24 87-8 TC model. I have 6 still in the box

They also made a Pro-Street/Pro-Stock 83 Bird (V8 of course) of which I only have 2

There is also the "hot pink" TC Pro-Streeter (Turbo'd V8) that I only have 1 of (one of the first models I ever built) also, the guy that lives 15 min away from the real one, FIND IT! PICTURES! PLEASE! We all want to see it, the old Hot Rod it was on the cover of is VERY hard to find!

Revell also made a 87-8 TC Pro-Stock (Bob Glidden) that is expensive when you find it.

NOW, HO Scale Slot Cars also give us a go!
Rokar, now called LifeLike made a 87-8 TC slot car that was VERY popular and in fact, is still in production, I have about 20 various paint schemes already! The newest set was called Turbo Speedway or something like that and came with 2 glow-in-the dark TC's. If you find one, buy it. Makes a great Christmas/Birthday gift for the little ones.

And of course, Matchbox! They made the 87-8 TC in 1/64 and even included it in their "World Class" line. (Think Ferrari's, Porsche's, Lotus, etc.)

All of these float around eBay, however as mentioned by others, it's hard to make them look like ours! So here is my proposal, anybody that would like a miniature version of their TC, I will build it, for a small fee though. I am an award-winning model builder (Look in the Feb 99 issue of Scale Auto, the June 01 issue of White Dwarf, and the local IPMS shows) I have a considerable stock of the little TC's and so if you can't find one, my inventory is available. Anybody interested? If you know me from eBay, my user ID is "ScorpionAirbrushing" because I do custom paintwork. If you are interested, let me know! I might open an all TC hobby shop! Go NATO!

If only it wasn't pink! I can't believe nobody out there wants miniture versions of their cars. Come on car show guys, you've seen every camaro under the sun with a model on the dashboard or air cleaner. Is there any interest at all?

i like the idea of a miniature model of my car, but i wouldn't pay someone to build it for me. its like taking the car to a shop for something i am perfectly capable of doing myself. Plus i love the feeling after i repair/build something myself. like after i dropped the 'new' motor in my T/C, it had to be one of the biggest highs ive ever had, knowing i completed this project pretty much by myself.

Matchbox parts #s
are 28-J 59-H and 61-F. The part#s want do any good as in reality there is about 40 different paint jobs and about 20 different #s.

I figured alot of you guys would feel the same, the pride of building it yourself, but let's face it, some of us don't have the patience and most of us don't have the time. I didn't figure many people would want models, but I thought a few would like Matchboxes and maybe a few would like the HO Scale Slot Cars. I know alot of you are up north where slot car racing is pretty big.

I know that there's quite a few different NASCAR T-Bird go-kart bodies. There's also a few different TC R/C cars, I have 1. Never heard of a FILA car though...
