The IHI turbine housing will not support the exhaust flow of 20psi+

What are you trying to do there sir...then how much time and money are you willing/able to do?

Once the power starts coming up...the stock clutch life is really shortened...

about losing the reply, if you use chrome it *almost always* saves my text if for some reason the reply didnt send. Internet Explorer has a lot of shortcuts that can cause you to accidentally delete a full reply. Yikes!

Ah...browsers...

I generally use chrome to great success
I sometimes use firefox out of nostalgia
I sometimes use IE...because sometimes I have to...but I hate to do it...

Do you still have the svo turbo? I'm in need of a turbo and would like to get my bird running again. Let me know please if you have the svo turbo.

There is no need to get caught up with turbo upgrades until you approach the power limits of your IHI (which means you should get to 250hp or so at the wheels) before there will be any turbo that will perform better all around than the IHI. At that point, your next turbo decision will be based around your target power goals.

Installing a manual boost controller doesn't remove the overboost buzzer.

Thanks alot guys but do you really think I know what chrome or firefox is???? Have a hard enough time remembering my password. lol Figured out if I hit back space in preview reply my reply goes into outer space somewhere. No longer use backspace....

Stinger - 250 at the wheels. Can I assume that the 190 rating with the HI was at the rear wheels? Still would sound like alot to me unless I change the cam plus alot of other things. Thought if I changed over to the SVO T3 I would be in the 200HP range like the SVO stang without any other changes. I read about alot on this sight but there are many different ways to a better ET. At the moment there is only one thing I don't worry about and thats too much wheel spin.....

As for the overboost buzzer - I thought it went off just over 15 PSI? At this time with the gille's my boost gauge goes well into the red and I have never heard the buzzer. Maybe its broke or just fooling me? lol bobbymac
