T3 Oil Return Line

Before I positively decide on replacing the ihi turbo on my 87 TC with an older T3, I wanted to check one last thing. Exactly how is the oil return line different between the two turbos? Would it be possible to rig up a series of connections to make the existing line work or would I have to shell ou the $100+ for the proper return line?

UPDATE: car blew the turbo on 8/17/01, so it'll be off the road until next summer when i can fix it.

I believe the flange is different were it bolts to the turbo. You can get them new or find one in the bone yard.

Keith is right. The turbo flange end is different. Be sure to pressure check a used line before you install it, if you go that route

I'll make sure I'm actually getting a T3 first and am not getting the return line with it. If not, i'll probably take you up on your offer. Thanks.
