What is the difference between a T-5 and a world class T-5? Are they interchangeable?
White '88 auto mostly stock, Black '88 5 speed nowhere near stock

I think 85 and up T5s in fords were considered WC.
Also note that the T5 in the 4 cylinder Mustangs is the same WC T5. Plentiful and cheap. Do not pay the premium some- people ask for a TC T5

I've never heard that they are not IC but I never did it either. Gear ratios may be different.

Gear ratios aside, just want to know if it is a drop in with no mods, you know, same bell housing, driveshaft and whatever else.

As long as its a Ford T5 yes its interchangable.
