i know someone already put a t-56 trany in there 87-88 tc. i was just curios what mods have to be done to put one in my 87 tc
87 Medium Red, Motion Dynamics cold air intake, Gillis boost valve set to 17 psi, Tri ax short thorw, ATR's single 3 inch exhaust http://members.cardomain.com/87tbird2nv

this guy put a t-56 behind the volvo-headed 2.3 SVO. I hope to someday have the same head/tranny swap. Just gotta get all the right parts Tongue

you can either use a adapter like this,but you might have to add holes for your bellhousing.

other way to do it is to use the bellhousing adapter for sale on turboford as it allows you to use a v8 bellhousing.oh and you have to have the driveshaft shortened.
