When removing the sway bar bushing, the plastic retainer on the top nuts was pretty much destroyed. I believe that the part was used as an installation aid by keeping the nuts from turning when tightening the through bolts, but would like to know if it served another purpose.
I assume the part would not be available any longer... not sure if it would even be needed.
BTW, using energy suspension greasable bushings... I was not able to get the correct tall bracket, so I will just drill and tap the stock inner bracket as suggested.
