i went to buy sway bar bushings and they needed to know sway bar size (7/8 ro up to 1 5/8)
what is stock on the 88 turbo coupe

1 5/16 front. and if you are ordering energy suspension bushings get the 8121 end links b/c the 8119 is for mustangs and are to short.

I measured my front sway bar with a set of dial calipers before I got my new bushings; it was 1.25" in diameter. 87 TC.
The new bushings fit perfectly.

it all depends on what bar you have apparently there are two bars 1 5/16 and 1 1/4. the difference is a 1/16 of an inch which i could see just from being a wear factor.
