yes. '83-'86 TC's used a different front lower control arm with different bushings.....actually, one of the two bushings is the same as '87-'88.

i have dismantled a lot of TC's, especially '87-'88 and i have not run across one that didn't use the oval bushing rear lower control arm.

sway bar bushings and end links should be the same as a 5.0 fox mustang.

The sping isolators i used on a 87-88 TC were from a 87-93 mustang (which could be 79-93 but thats not what i "said" when i bought the part). I was told the sn94 mustang front control arms work in a 87-88. I told them it was for a 96 mustang and bought the complete control arms and bushings from maximum motorsports. I know they no sell Tbird specific front control arms (i dont think they did before so maybe they would know?). FYI, the nut on the maximum motorsports ball joint was coarse thread instead of fine. I had to buy nuts for them, instead of reusing the stock nuts. Can't help too much on the 83-86 unless someone can cross reference from what i used to the 83-86 as well.
