ya know Im getting sick of these PCV system problems. I go thru a pcv once a month the last two have been motorcraft and have leaked in the matter of weeks. If it leaks with me blowing on it I could imagine what 18 psi of an T3 could do to it.

Is there a way to eliminate it?

I was thinking about machining a valve at work out of aluminum with tighter clearences. And repairable by pulling it apart and clamping it back together.

Or to save me time can I do something else?

I do have the villager one way valve and that thing hasnt lasted a year since I installed it back in july

Is there anything getting into it or stuck in the PCV valve? If so you need to correct that problem. Try opening 1 or 2, and look inside for wear and see what the failure is. Maybe signs of heat, sludge, or wear will be present. Just a few thought, but there must be something to it.

Yea there has to be a cause of this and makeing a cleanable valve would only delay the problem. I would think like Keith said and there might be alot of sludge in your engine. Pull the valve cover off and take a look.

pulling the valve cover wont do anything since the head isnt even a year old. But the old head had no sludge at all. I installed a new check valve. the pcv valve in there now is like number 4 two parts store and two motorcraft.

I dont see anything in them im gonna run some brake cleaner thru the one i have now and see if that helps. This just pisses me off. I read that a guy just plugged the line on the intake and ran the line the pcv valve goes into to the line into the top of the valve cover and ran that to a breather style catch can. And has had no problems, even with anything going into it.
