So how do I get that little thing out of there when I can't get my fingers in the space ?

a pair of needle nose pliers work well.

Excellent thanks. Is this bulb a pull straight out, twist & pull, or push in twist and pull? I can see me breaking it with pliers not knowing ;-)

Thanks, just got it out....without breaking :-)

Not the easiest thing to get at !

Oh yeah. I have a 5 spd so first take the screws out of the shifter boot cover to access the stereo cover plate bottom screws. I didn't bother trying to take the shifter boot/plate completely off, just loose to work around it.
Take off the 4 radio/EQ cover plate screws (Phillips head) A #20 torx is needed to remove the 4 radio mounting screws. Take off the volume knob and balance slide knob. Pull the radio straight out, its take a good solid pull as there is a slide in mounting bracket under it. Remove the mounting brackets on each side of the radio, 7/32 socket. Remove the tiny Phillips screws that are under those. Pull off the radio face plate the get at the bulb.
