Stingers dual exhaust, mufflers hitting driveshaft

I pick up a down pipe, mid pipe Y pipe and tail pipes from stinger, bought Dynomax mufflers and clamps else were due to budget reasons trying to save some dough to get the car back on the road.

Problem, I have the down pipe and mid pipe loosely installed. Trying to install the Y-pipe and mufflers I'm running into clearance problems with the mufflers hitting the driveshaft. I assembled the y-pipe and mufflers on the floor and looks like the y pipe is bent to where the mufflers are moving together.

Question do I have something damaged, or I'm I just out of alignment somewhere? Do I need to cut and trim any of the pipes anywhere? trying to figure this out on my back is harder than I thought it would be. After working in a shop with access to a lift to now working on the floor in my garage I feel like I had a hand cut off.....

I'm about to say screw it and pay an exhaust shop to finish the install

I suggest returning the exhaust and just let a good exhaust shop do the complete exhaust. It will cost about the same but you will end up with an exhaust that actually fits your car.

Here is a link to the thread I started when trying to get the exhaust to fit. I never did get it to fit properly.

Mine didn't work right either. I had to cut the y pipe shorter. Did the same thing you did buying mufflers separate. Got mine to fit after cutting and wrestling.

Shoot some pictures and email them to stinger explaining the problem.
