I don't recall which tubes needed shortening but the Stinger kit is not plug-n-play for every install. For example, it depends on whether you have an AC condenser. Plus the bends are not perfectly correct (these are done by hand on an exhaust tubing bender). The kit gets you close but needs massaging.

I was looking at this kit but when I learned that it was aluminized steel tubing I was disappointed. I may get the intercooler but I'll likely get some aluminum tube and piece it together.

BradM what are the dimensions on the intercooler itself?

BradM did you have to move the A/C condenser with your mounts? I think Stinger says you need to move it 1" towards the radiator.

I did not need to move my condenser at all. Plenty of room.

I'm just curious if there are any measurements for the size of the intercooler. I looked on the stinger site and they don't list any. I'm just also trying to figure out dimensions and add in a remote oil adapter and cooler since I bypassed the one running off engine coolant. Thanks.

I don't know the dimensions but I was able to mount an oil cooler above the intercooler.

And then did you remove the factory IC or leave it there for the stock appearance?
Just messin with ya, I wish I would quit thinking about it and do the FMIC. Too many irons in the fire.
I need to sell off some toys.

LOL, that picture was when I just mounted the intercooler. I left the stock one in place so I could still start and move the car. Here is what I had when I was finished. Don't judge my welds, my tig experience is limited.

Nice.
No judgement here, as long as they hold air, that's what matters.
How do you get by without clamps on the turbo outlet hose? JB weld? LOL
