I haveta jump in on this too, being an audiophile myself.A lot of kids now days want the biggest subs they can fit in their cars with the most watts.Then they dont power them efficiently enough.I would rather go with a bigger amp than be under powered with big magnet speakers.Afterall it's clipping that kills more speakers than too much power.As long as you dont use full volume you'll live to hear your grandkids screaming.
