Here I am, finishing up a heater core replacement and I think... RADIO... while I'm here.
I've read, searched, and I'm recently FAQd as well. Either my old mind is just confused or there is some confusion in what is presented.
88 TC with the premium/graphic EQ setup.
The OEM radio has two plugs, grey and black.
If I understand what I am reading, I buy an adaptor for the TC from WalMart etc. and plug it into the OEM Grey plug. ALSO, I need to fish out a hidden OEM Black plug that was for the non-premium radio and plug into it as well. I found the hidden plug with wiring colors:
Color / Stripe
Orange/Green
Pink/Green
Blue/Orange
White/Green
Green/Orange
Pink/Blue
White/Purple
Does anyone know what the wiring colors above = ?
Additionally I need to disconnect the factory amp in the trunk and I will already have the EQ taken out of the car.
So, am I on the right track?
