Steering Shaft Bolt Locations

So I'm in the process of converting my 88 to manual steering. I already did the 3G alternator upgrade and used some 86 Ranger alternator brackets. I got the old rack out and know that there are two bolts for the steering shaft. One is at the rack (which I took off to get the rack out) and one inside the car under the dash by the firewall. I haven't had a chance to dig around under the dash just yet but wanted to ask before I do; does anyone know exactly where this second bolt is? I saw a rubber boot around the firewall entry/exit point for the steering shaft/column. Am I right in assuming that I have to pull back this boot and the second steering shaft bolt will be somewhere in that area? Thanks!
