steering hoses

all hoses that go to the rack are rotted/leaking at the rack itself. can i use generic fittings with 3/8 hose or do i need actual replacement hoses for some if not all fittings? i figure if i'm going to do one, i might as well do'em all.

The pressure hose coming out of the pump must be replaceed with the same kind,and they are not cheap!

Thats for sure! I paid $60 for the high pressure pump to rack hose almost 2 years ago!!

i expected as much on the hose to the pump. it's the others i was wondering about. all help is appreciated.

For the low pressure return lines, I just use tranny cooler hose.

For the lines you could also use high pressure hose with hose clamps.
