Nice looking build so far. What rods and pistons are you running?

As for the block itself, I think with a partial block fill, 900hp is not out of the question. Even without the fill, I would think 700hp would not be a problem. As for injectors, I would run some 95lbers. The stock fuel lines will be done by about 500rwhp or so depending on how much FP you run.

Have you had the valve cover on yet? I'm wondering if the ear on the compressor housing is going to miss the valve cover or are you planning on re-clocking the housing?

Just an Fyi...the stock rods will want to see daylight around 400rwhp. Been there, done that. Wasted a perfectly good block in the process.
As for the fuel pump, for an extra $50.00 or so over the cost of the Walbro 255lph pump, you can get the Aeromotive 340 Stealth intank pump. That is what is in my Bird.

Not tryin to jack the thread but would you recommend using old rods on an engine that will never pass 300-350hp
I'm rebuilding my engine and reusing my old rods from a 190k mile engine
Right now it has no more than 250hp I would say but my current rods are being reconditioned
Whats your consensus on keeping the old rods for now?

Based on E.T and trap speeds, my car is at about 485rwhp with 27-28psi and about 575rwhp with the same boost and a 50 shot. I currently run Crower Sportsman rods
On my stock rod chunking pass (2008, I think), I ran 11.78 @115 which with my vehicle weight at the time equaled right at 400rwhp.

Ramos, with 300-350rwhp and a good safe tune, the stock rods should be good to go.

boosted chicken: do you have your 50 shot all the way down the track? or cut off at a boost level?
