Ok I have a 1987 turbocoupe I have changed fuel filter plugs wires cap rotor FPR good fuel pressure still stalls when comming to a stop sign. Do not say anything about codes because i do not have a code reading device and I'am pluging wires into one another. SORRY FOR NOT POSTING A NEW POST. IF any help thanks.

You REALLY need to run a complete code test. You do not need a reader, just a jumper wire. Without knowing what codes are present, or that the code test is a pass on all 3 parts, making a guess as to what the problem is is nearly impossible.

Mine was doing the same thing for a year up untill yesterday I toyed with the tps ,cleaned out iac and tinkered with the throttle base screw it aint cut off at all since last night and I've drove everywhere I've been tryin to fix that problem for like a year and a half

sounds like TPS and IAC are the way to go to help idle problems.

With the exception of cleaning the EGR too.

ok before i put the car away i changed the IAC AND EGR so TPS is most likely the problem i'am trying to barrow a scanner.

Did you set the TPS properly when you changed it? It is not bolt in, you have to set it later. With a digital volt meter and some patience we can walk you through every test of your car, if it gets to that. There is no sense in throwing parts at it and becoming frustrated. We can save you lots of money if we have the information we need. We have all been there!

You will need a digital volt meter to keep owning this car. It's a fact of life with electronics. Wink

ok i did not replace the tps yet but i do have a volt meter and how do i test it and what is the proper setting for the tps and where is the throttle base screw.

i have codes KOEO self test 23, 85, 88, 27, 42, and 72 KOER self test 23, and 25 hope this helps to solve my problem
